INTENTIONS

We decided between 3 different wash styles; opting for the lightest. The Hutch was updated to this handsome, blue grey with contrasting paint on the shelves and new hardware.

A new cushion for the bench & newly painted design under the seat made for a cozy area to curl with a book. The cotton duck curtains soften and shade. An antique wooden basket for blanket storage . There's also a discreet fan in the ceiling light to maximize the cross ventilation.

INTENTIONS

Opening up the kitchen created a beautiful space for peninsula seating, a new pantry and a much better location for the fridge. The cream cabinets, grey slate tiles and mossy, granite counter tops all played nicely with the ivory backsplash tiles. Recessed lighting, under mount lighting & new light fixtures were all dimmable. After the cabinets were installed we decided they needed a skirt to match the crown to make it all complete.

BEFORE
This room's shabby panelling, carpet and doors all needed to go!

AFTER-
Luckily the wood floors underneath carpet were beautiful and just needed refinishing. We added a design between the windows and lowered the switch. Found a fabulous light in NYC and special recessed pulls for the new closet doors. Also added wide trim around closets as well as new window treatments.

Create a soothing pallette, add storage and increase counter space.

The tiny vanity was updated to a 54" cabinet. A vessel sink and fountain faucet leave plenty of work space on the quartz. counter. 48" Medicine cabinet, wainscoting, window shutters and ceramic floors all blended harmoniously.

THE MISSION
Add color and create a more inviting entrance to this sad, drab door.

THE RESULT
The power of paint! Plum Door is accented by taupe trim, new light fixture and gold & bronze plaque.

Recently a couple sent this picture asking for help; One loved this look, the other wanted to change a few details

Jessa came up with these slight changes so that both owners agreed on a design direction that they both loved

Create a colorful and inviting space that these New Yorkers will enjoy when summering in CT. They wanted to keep the layout & simple styling yet add a playful spirit.

This image alteration shows how furniture of a larger scale better suits the space. Adding another floor length window balances the room & adds more pleasing light.

Jessa's favorite idea is to break up all the boxes and lines of the room by adding a fabulous, arched window. Due to the height of the arch, no window curtains would be needed for privacy so the couple can gaze at the stars at night. This impactful change takes an ordinary room to extrodinary!
